SciFi and Fantasy Art: Paint Angel

This is a little different than most of the pics in my gallery. So you get to hear how I did it. First I drew the original design, which didn't take long, since it's not a complicated pose. Then I took a couple sheets of paper and using acrylics painted them different colours, and painted a little sheet of card blue. Then I took the original sheet, with the drawing on it, and cut out a couple of sections, and glued them to the underside of a painted section, and cut that out. Then glued THAT to the sheet of painted card. Repeat until finished. It means it turns out backwards, but that's alright. I think it turned out pretty nice.
